I heard on WIND Radio 560 AM this morning, that Dennis Miller (yes, that Dennis Miller!) is coming to NewsTalk Radio 560 AM at 12 noon to 2 PM on Monday, March 26th. Dennis calls himself a “911 Conservative,” which is a common experience to many people.
I heard about this on the John and Cisco show this morning. It sounds very cool. I’m very interested to hear it.
Many of you who know me, also know that I have been very suspicious of the “global warming” fad, since it began. The assertions I hear in the popular media from the sky is falling, global warming proponents are:
- The earth is in a warming trend
- This trend is unusual and will keep going indefinitely unless we do something radical to reverse it
- This trend is caused by human beings and their activities, so it is therefore changeable by human beings altering their activities
First, no one denies that temperatures are about a degree warmer than they were a hundred years ago. The question is what is causing this to occur? The reasons for my objections for the human causes of global warming are many, but to simplify them, they are:
- My suspicion of the “science” used to support the human causes of global warming claims. It looks like bad science to me.
- The astonishing intolerance and hatred from global warming proponents, against any who dare to question their beliefs or underlying presuppositions, or biases. This reaction is very unscientific, if I understand “the scientific method” at all.
- The “political” and “power” nature of the human cause of global warming movement. I suspect there are other motives and agendas at work here.
- Hollywood fawning all over Al Gore and his “documentary” called “An Inconvenient Truth.” That Oscar was a sham and not deserved.
- The hypocricy of the global warming proponents who are mostly centered in rich, developed countries, who don’t want to allow poor, third world developing nations reap the same benefits enjoyed in developed countries. They don’t seem to understand the catastrophic effect that holding back the third-world will have on the lives of millions of people, mostly children.
I recently watched a very good documentary film produced by BBC Channel 4, that captures most of my objections in one, interesting, fact-filled, intelligent, one might even say “scientific,” thought-provoking piece. “The Global Warming Swindle” has not been aired in the US (I can’t imagine why!) but is fortunately available for online viewing here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4520665474899458831. I encourage any person seeking after the “truth” to make this a part of your search. One must deal with other points of view on the “theories” of the human causes of global warming. To ignore evidence or deny other points of view, is simply foolish and is unscientific by definition.
The other great resource is a novel by Michael Crichton entitled, “State of Fear.” This is an entertaining thriller, in the style of so many Crichton books, only this one actually has footnotes in it supporting the author’s views on “global warming” as expressed through the characters and in the plot of the story.
I highly recommend both of these resources for anyone serious about learning more on this important topic. I believe the global warming frenzy is one of the biggest deceptions being perpetrated today. The fact that millions of people believe it, is a sign that our world and our society is losing it’s ability to think critically, and it doesn’t question things seen, heard and experienced though media and entertainment. The fact that this media is an industry, with individual people behind it, wielding the power to sway the minds of millions, is of great concern to me.
The loss of critical thinking skills is one of the trends that is contributing to the decline and extinction of western civilization itself!
I heard this on my way home from work on Michael Savage’s talk radio show, the Savage Nation. I couldn’t believe what I heard! Michael Ware, a British reporter for CNN, was reporting on an insurgent sniper team as they stalked and killed an American Marine soldier. [See Video]–>

“Of course, we also understood that some might conclude there is a public relations benefit for the insurgents if we aired the material, especially on CNN International. We also understood that this kind of footage is upsetting and disturbing for many viewers. But after getting beyond the emotional debate, we concluded the tape meets our criteria for newsworthiness.”
Wikipedia offers this definition of TREASON: “In law, treason is the crime of disloyalty to one’s nation or state. A person who betrays the nation of their citizenship and/or reneges on an oath of loyalty and in some way willfully cooperates with an enemy, is considered to be a traitor.”
The Eleventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Section 3 states: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
I call upon Congress to use the power vested in them by the U.S. Constitution to arrest the people in CNN who are suspected to be responsible for airing this enemy video “story” and to try them for the crime of treason. They have clearly given “Aid and Comfort” to the enemy, and revealed an outrageous bias and adherence to our enemies.
What if I was a parent who had lost my son to a sniper in Iraq?… like the Indiana father who called in this morning to John & Cisco on WIND 560. My heart went out to him and his family as he slowly, painfully shared how this “story” had affected him. The unbelievable pain that CNN inflicted on American citizens like this father is unforgivable, and then to have the audacity to say, “after getting beyond the emotional debate, we concluded the tape meets our criteria for newsworthiness.”
Over the “EMOTION?” I am grateful that somebody is EMOTIONAL over this kind of EVIL! What a bunch of absolute depravity – CNN!
This decision and action by Criminal News Network is an ABOMINATION!
I am so angry and outraged, I can’t write what I really feel.

I watched the two-part ABC Made-for-TV movie on the events surrounding and leading up to 911. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I thought that it did not paint the Clinton Administration in very good light (which it shouldn’t have), and seemed pretty accurate based upon what I know and have read.
What we did to the Afghan Northern Alliance leader Ahmed Shah Massoud was unforgivable. How we allowed inter-agency bickering and turf wars to impeed the gathering of information and the decision-making process was maddeningly embarrassing as an American.
I also have to say that watching the program, especially at the end, stirrred up that same anger that I felt 5 years earlier. I can’t believe that we as a nation have moved so far back into our complacency. We do not act like a nation at war, because in our collective heart, we aren’t. That saddens and frightens me.
It feels like the only thing that will wake us up is another tragedy. Our very future is at stake. I hope and pray it does not come to that, and that our leaders will start recognizing the enemy for who they really are, calling it straight and going after them with renewed commitment and energy.
