Thanks for the link.  Amazingly I had not heard about the site yet.  Thanks for keeping me informed.

Here in Europe I bet the survey would be even worse.  As I have talked to my peers here the most common reason they say they wanted Obama to win was that he reminded them of JF Kennedy.  For most of them it was a contest of Charismatic young guy vs old white guy.

When people ask me what concerns I have I direct them to issues such as capital gains tax, increased corporate regulations, govt. meddling in free trade (like the coal issue), non secret union voting and then social topics such as embryonic stem cell reseach, partial birth abortions, nationalized health care.  

Unfortunatley, even if they knew about these topics they would still vote for him, as they believe in all of those points of view.  So, what I have learned is that liberal solcialist europe would have voted for the liberal socialist.

While I am still here I will try to enlighten them.

Oh yeah, one other thing I have learned here is that Ronald Reagan did not cause the end of the cold war, Gorbachev did.</description>
