Just posting an update on a few more recent books I’ve read.
This is my first book by Nelson DeMille… “Night Fall” – based upon the events surrounding the crash of TWA Flight 800 in 1996. Very fascinating and well written. I learned a lot about that event that I did not know. I completed it here on vacation in Steamboat, Colorado. I’ve got another one of his books at home to read next.
In that vein, I also recently reread the “Bourne Ultimatum” by Robert Ludlum. Probably because of the recent movie release. Basically the movies bear no resemblance to the books by their name. I am not sure why. The books are much better. I find that this is true almost all the time.
I am also reading my first book by Brian D. McLaren entitled “A New Kind of Christian.” It is a novel about two friends on a spiritual journey. Fascinating and challenging so far.
